    Once upon a time a girl met a boy, in London. She was an aspiring pastry chef studying at the prestigious Leith’s School of Food and Wine, he was a musician who lived on chips and kebabs. They would meet in a club, and it would be magic. Eight years down the line and their passion for each other is surpassed only by their passion for creating good food.

    The story of Moemas is one of love, love and delicious food (which is the same thing really). Born in a house in Melville in 2007, Moemas has grown into a fully-fledged bakery and catering service, providing the residents of Parktown North and the surrounds with a daily helping of yummy treats and eats.

  • According to founders Danielle and Mike, Moemas is “about joy, beauty, quality, and all the things that are important to us – like good people, good, fresh food, cakes and pastries, made daily on the premises, with seasonal produce, and only the best quality ingredients … We also wanted it to be about family and so Moemas is very much a family business.”

    Moemas is situated in the Parktown Quarter (Previously Northpark centre), pop in today for a spot of indulgence. We’re also available as wedding caterers, corporate caterers, birthdays, picnics – actually, anywhere where scrumptious food and happy faces are appreciated.
